Banksia Hideaway is a comfortable, self-contained cabin situated in Medlow Bath in the upper Blue Mountains offering easy access to countless attractions for the visitor to this unique World Heritage area.
The cabin boasts views over the Megalong Valley and only a short distance away are starting points for popular walks in the Grose and Jamison Valleys.
Experience the rock formations, the waterfalls and the ever changing clouds that were an inspiration to photographer Harry Phillips in the early twentieth century, the landscape artists of an earlier time, and others more recently who were, and continue to be, captivated by the magnificence of the wilderness as it changes with the light and the seasons.
For the visitor seeking less energetic pursuits than the walks on offer, Banksia Hideaway is within easy access to train services to Blackheath, Katoomba and Leura - a journey of only a few minutes to these locations, all of which offer a variety of eateries, galleries and easy-access lookouts. A local bus service is also available.
Or simply relax on the veranda at Banksia Hideaway and observe the many birds that are unique to the upper mountains foraging amongst the native flora.

The cabin is well appointed and can comfortably accommodate 2 or 3 people. It offers -
